Our journey with beads
A.C.T. Beaded Things began as a return to a cherished craft. After a hiatus, I felt the pull to bead again, a skill taught to me at a young age by my older sister. My journey started with loom work, creating belts and horse tack in 2001. After a partner’s illness led me to set aside my beads for a few years, tragedy brought me back. In 2011, I lost my oldest son. A.C.T. stands for Aidan, Cash, and Trinity, his children, carrying their memory into every piece I create.
Craftsmanship and unique materials
My beading style is rooted in tradition and personal expression. I source the finest beads from Native American suppliers or at Pow Wows, ensuring authenticity and quality. Beading is a soothing process for me, a meditative act. I primarily use size 11 seed beads, and my stones are personally selected during trips back home to Arizona. Each material is chosen with care, contributing to the unique beauty of every item.
A special touch in every piece

While beading, I often let my thoughts guide the design, sometimes using graph paper to perfect the intricate patterns.
